Use of Funds
The funds raised at the hike make it possible for us to train caregivers in our time-tested OneSky Approach across China and Vietnam, as well as support the P.C. Lee OneSky Global Centre for Early Childhood Development in Hong Kong. Your participation will also provide help for the young, at-risk children we serve. By taking part in this year’s hike, your support could help:
Supply a set of building blocks to encourage imaginative play and collaboration among little friends.
Furnish a crib, mattress, pad, and sheets for one happy and sleepy baby come naptime.
Fund early education for a child living in an orphanage in China and help them develop into active, curious learners engaged in her or his learning experience.
Train a teacher to provide early education to 30 children and support their grandparents and primary caregivers to care for these young children in village communities in rural China.
Help our Early Learning Center for children of factory workers in Vietnam by supporting a classroom and changing the prospects for Vietnam’s youngest and most vulnerable children.
Fund a foster family to help care for orphaned children with special needs, so they can grow up knowing the love of family while receiving the special care our early intervention programs provide. Your gift supports a OneSky-trained couple dedicated to caring for up to four orphaned children whose special needs make it unlikely that they will be adopted.
Help outfit a baby and toddler room at the P. C. Lee OneSky Global Centre for Early Childhood Development in Hong Kong, by providing engaging, age-appropriate educational toys and surroundings.
